Hi, welcome to my little corner of Hubpages! Here is a little about me: I am a 40 year old mom to a ten year old boy. His dad and I divorced 2 years ago due to Infidelity. It was pretty much a five year break up because I felt I owed it to my son to try and forgive my ex for cheating. I wanted to be able to tell my son one day that I tried everything I could to make it work. I don't regret the time I wasted as I feel I earned my way out of that marriage. Once I left I never looked back or wondered if I did the right thing.

I also have a website dedicated to the issues and pain surrounding Infidelity as this topic is very important to me..The experience of being cheated on, repeatedly lied to and the struggles associated with the divorce/custody process initially crippled me but as the cliche goes; I did come out the side so much stronger, more knowledgeable and completely equipped with the tools to have a better life and to make better choices. I am one of those people who eventually got her happy ending. The lessons learned helped me to chose better.

After joining Hubpages and reading all the wonderful articles on varying topics, I decided I would like to branch out and write about more than just Infidelity. Being the age of forty brings a lot of life experience, adventures and things to write about.  I'm writing because I love doing so and if I help just one other person feel a little less hurt when faced with a similar challenge than my mission is accomplished.

I also write for spite, yes spite! (sarcastic grin). My ex-husband was a cheater and a control freak and he often told me I would be nothing without him. I didn't believe it then and I'm continuing to prove him wrong. Fear of failure is not an option for me! I enjoy writing and I love that my words help others, I have had many people contact me asking for advice, thanking me for writing what I write and showing gratitude that I feel it's important to pay it forward. "You are nothing without me", he says! In your face jerk......
